Development and evaluation of an automated solvent-assisted flavour evaporation (aSAFE)

چکیده
Abstract Artefact-avoiding isolation of the volatiles from foods is a crucial step before analysis odour-active compounds by gas chromatography (GC). In past 20 years, solvent extraction followed solvent-assisted flavour evaporation (SAFE) has become standard approach, particularly prior to GC–olfactometry. The manual valve SAFE equipment, however, leads suboptimal yields and risk contamination volatile isolate with non-volatiles. We thus developed an automated (aSAFE) approach replacing electronically controlled pneumatic valve. aSAFE provides clearly higher than (mSAFE), notably extracts high in lipids for odorants comparably boiling points. Additionally, substantially reduces non-volatiles being transferred isolate. Full automatisation possible combining liquid nitrogen refill system as well endpoint recognition shut-off system.

while performance-based language assessment has led to an increased authenticity and content validity in the practice of writing assessment, the reliability of ratings has become a major issue. research findings have shown different reactions by native english speaker (nes) and non-native english speaker (nns) teachers to students’ writings. the focus of this study is on investigating whether i...
Development and In vitro Evaluation of Flurbiprofen Microcapsules Prepared by Modified Solvent Evaporation Technique
Purpose: To develop modified release microcapsules of flurbiprofen for sustained release and reduced gastrointestinal side effects. Method: A co-polymer containing Eudragit RS 100 and hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) in different drug/co-polymer ratios was used for microencapsulation of flurbiprofen by modified emulsion solvent evaporation (MESE) technique. The microcapsules were evaluated ...
